Trick Tips
Due to popular demand we have decided to put a new page into the S-T site this page will, hopefully, help you to learn your tricks better or to just help you learn the new trick you have been working on so hard lately....

Ollie's and Kickflips
The first trick you'll learn as a skateboarder most likely is the ollie, this is the main trick, the jump, well when you ollie you want to do these steps as they follow: (using the photo to the left may help you) STEP 1: Put feet on board and set your front foot just below the bolts on your board. STEP 2: Bend your knees when you are ready to jump. STEP 3: When you jump into the air you'll want to bend your front foot in the way that your laces on your shoes is rubbing along the griptape.
STEP 4: Balance out your body. STEP 5: Roll away smoothly.

Now the kickflip is your main flip tricks, these are the sets of tricks that have the board rotatting below your feet. STEP 1: Put your feet in the ollie postition, except this time your front foot is set about in the middle of the board and then scoot it to the edge of the deck. STEP 2: Jump up as you would in the ollie. STEP 3: Just as your tail raises off the ground take your front foot and flick it out and down. STEP 4: When the board completes it's rotation catch it in the air. STEP 4: Balance out your body. STEP 5: Roll away smoothly.
180's
180's are much like the ollie except for the one hundred and eighty degree's of rotation, follow these steps as they go: STEP 1: Get into your ollie positition. STEP 2: Jump up as the same way you do so in your ollie. STEP 3: This is where the spin comes into play, when midway through the trick, and in the air, start to turn your body. STEP 4: The hint to the spin is all in the shoulders. STEP 5: Once your done with the rotation balance out your body. STEP 6: Land smoothly and roll away.
Manual's and Grind's
Grinding is when you are riding on top of a curb or rail on the trucks connected to the bottom of your board. Follow these steps as they go. STEP 1: Get rolling at a speed your comfortable with. STEP 2: Ollie onto the curb. STEP 3: Have your body just leaning back, just a little bit this helps you keep your speed later in the grind. STEP 4: Ollie off the curb. STEP 5: Roll away smoothly.

Manuals are very simple to learn, it's just all about keeping your balance. Follow these steps as they go. STEP 1: Approach the curb at a comfortable speed. STEP 2: Ollie onto the curb. STEP 3: Land on just your two back wheels. STEP 4: Lean back, but dont lean back too far or you will fall backwards, balance out you body as you roll. STEP 5: Roll away smoothly.
